Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2006. It's sure to be a busy, and exciting year. Especially since Matt and I are getting MARRIED!!!! (in case any of you forgot).
I would just like to give a big shout of thanks to everyone who is helping us out (I want to thank you all now, before I turn into a bridezilla, and you all hate me).

  1. Jane, Matt's aunt / godmother / seamstress extraordinaire. For those of you to whom I have not yet bragged - Jane is custom making my Gown (yes, it has a capital G). Jane (along with Matt's mom, Ann) and I went to Toronto one day to spy on the dress of my dreams. Jane the mastermind helped me try it on, and mentally deconstructed it. She then made a mock up of it, that fit on a water bottle, and it was perfect! I wouldn't even begin to know how to do this, and Jane does it all without a pattern!!!
  2. Ann for all the help and suggestions she offers. Ann mailed me some clippings of design ideas for the hall - and a very disturbing recipe for a cake that looks like used kitty litter - is this for our wedding cake?! Ann always wants to help, and fix, and do for others (sound like anyone else you know?). She's also agreed to be our emcee for the night - she'll be a hoot, I know it. Hope no one out there has bladder control issues. Also, thanks for making Matt - who knows where I'd be without him?!
  3. George for having a very difficult discussion about sex with Matt in the potato field. And for giving me coal, wrapped in duct tape, for christmas.
  4. Thanks Catheter for making this website. I am having a ball blogging.
  5. Nick, for being *man* enough to be a bridesmaid. And saying "It's up to you" when asked what he wants to wear.
  6. Judy / Marg, my mom's. Immediately upon being told that Matt and I were getting married, Judy said to Marg "You know what this means?", and Marg responded with "Grandbabies!!!". I couldn't love you two more if I tried.
  7. Adrian / Bob, my dad's. Thanks for teaching me life lessons, such as how to make the perfect Caesar, how to spend $5 in gas to save 20 cents on a can of soup, and how to always love beer.
  8. Danna and Shannon. I couldn't ask for two more different, or more beautiful, people to be my closest friends, but you are. You guys are the world to me. Can't wait for the invitation-making bonanza coming up soon.

Lots more people to thank, but my fingers are getting sore, and your eyes are probably getting blurry. Thanks everyone!

I'm so happy for you....and this page is so cool...but then you're ultra-cool too.

But hey, what's wrong with polyester? Wait, nevermind, don't tell me, it's too late for me anyways.

Let me know if you need any help and I will certainly pitch in pour tu, mon amour!
