Kendra Loves Weddings.

Sorry about the lack of posts... always some excuse. But I have been getting heck from lots of people (after I gave you all heck for not coming to my Blog). So here it is; my *new* post.

Have I mentioned lately how much fun I am having planning our wedding? (I guess not, since I haven't posted in three weeks.) This is the greatest thing ever!

We have just secured a fantastic wedding photographer - check out her stuff at www.heatherfritz.com. We are sooooo excited.

Also, we have booked the same DJ that Matt's best friend, and best man, used at his wedding in '04. So, we'll have rockin' music, and kick ass photos.

Last week, I got together with my posse (i.e. the female contingent of my wedding party), as well as my mom and "udda mudda", and had an invitation making party. Who knew that obsessive compulsive people could make such wonderful confetti - by hand!!!

Matt has also taken an active interest in wedding things. He is currently reading "The Clueless Grooms Guide to Weddings" (given to him by some co-workers), and making suggestions and giving input.

I am really starting to feel like a bride-to-be. And I have the greatest-ever groom-to-be. How did I get to be so lucky? It must be because I am smart, and witty, and beautiful. Or my parents are slipping Matt bigger cheques than I originally thought. In any event, this is tons of fun. So far.

Ok, world. Status: on track for wedding plans, will continue to work on invitations (I have even guilted my mom into addressing the envelopes), and start thinking about decoration ideas. Too bad that the wedding is only nine months away - I am having such a good time.
